The water temperature in a regular bathtub gradually decreases, while a spa hot tub is equipped with a constant temperature heater, maintaining a constant temperature. This means the body's sweating response lasts longer, resulting in greater water loss.

It is generally recommended to maintain the water temperature between 36℃ and 40℃. Young, healthy individuals with normal circulatory systems can soak for 25-30 minutes; the elderly or those with weak cardiovascular systems are advised to limit it to 15-20 minutes.

Most spa hot tubs are equipped with electric heaters or heat pumps, using a temperature sensor to monitor the water temperature in real time. When the water temperature drops below the set value, the system automatically heats up; once the target temperature is reached, heating stops to maintain a stable temperature.

The temperature of a whirlpool spa hot tub is usually slightly higher than body temperature. The heat stimulates the dilation of capillaries, accelerating blood flow. The heat also increases the metabolic rate of epidermal cells, making it easier for dead skin cells to shed, resulting in a smoother new cell layer.

General Recommendation: Flush the swim spa hot tub after every 3 to 5 uses, or at least once a week. This achieves a good balance between maintaining water quality and maintenance costs.

Using excessively high concentrations of hydrogen peroxide in swim spa hot tubs may corrode or irritate bath equipment, pipes, and human skin. Therefore, the concentration must be strictly controlled during disinfection; a low concentration (1%~5%) added in stages is generally recommended.
